The 18th at Rooster Run is a wild par 5. With the wide fairway, a strong tee shot is tempting, but there is out-of-bounds on both sides, and errant shots here seem an easy mistake to avoid (and they are very unnecessary). The second shot is the key to this hole, as the approach plays through a narrow window of trees, and positioning will depend on the second shot.

When the hole is on the left side of the green, play to the right of the fairway, but be ware of the fairway bunker tuck far on the right side. Anything ending up on the left will require a ridiculous amount of loft to clear the trees.

When the hole is in the front of the green, the center of the fairway is the best line, but neither side is an absolute disaster.

The approach needs to be right on line to have a chance, the window of trees leaves little room for error.
