The 4th is a reachable par 5. The tee shot plays out to a downhill section of the hole. There is a tree on the right that may concern players and there is a right-side fairway bunker about 180 yards from the back cut, but anything in the fairway should be fine.
The playing in two brings quite a bit of risk into play. There a two large bunkers guarding the green, and a small water hazard short. Any layup here should be pretty straightforward though.
The approach from a layup here can be complex. If the player is has a downhill lie, the two large bunkers in the front of the green become a real risk. Judging this distance is complicated by the downhill lie, but these bunkers make coming up short disaster. Getting the distance right here will definitely reward the player.
Behind the green here is apparently Harvey Penick’s old home on Penick Dr.
