The par 5 12th brings fairway bunkers into play off the tee. From the back cut, it’s about 245 to the left-side bunker, and 255 to the one on the right. There is also OB along the left side.
The second shot will play over a hump in the fairway, and can add a bit of distance to easy shot that kicks forward. The key here is to get a good approach, so aim for a distance you can attack the green from.
The approach has all the hallmarks of Perry Maxwell: a slightly elevated green with guarding bunkers in front. An easy wedge to the back half of the green should be the safest play here.
