Hole 6 Discussion

The 6th is a par 4, dogleg right, but the dominate feature is a central fairway bunker with a tree behind it. The bunker starts about 185m from the back tees, and the tree should be in play if the shot flies 200m or more. The ideal landing area seems to be left of the central tree, leaving the length of the green and a direct line of play. Those trying to cut the corner may prefer the extra distance to the angle.

The approach from the left side seems to call for a simple draw into a long green, which should make the front bunker less of an issue.

The approach from the right side calls for a fade to stay in line with the angle of the green. The concern here is ending up short in the bunker. This will be highly dependent on wind, but players should have a fairly short wedge here with a good tee shot.
