Hole 4 Discussion

The fourth is a long, uphill par five. The land falls off left of the bunkers, and the fairway slopes a bit left as well, which favors the right side. The third fairway bunker will be hidden on the second shot, so be aware of it.

The approach will play over a bit of a dip in the fairway, complicating a run up. Three large bunkers guard the green, and there is a fairway cut runoff on the right side. The green is receptive though, as if mostly moves back-to-front.

The main feature of the green is it's beauty. Set on the edge of the hill, it falls off in all directions leaving an infinity green, and beautiful view of Daly City behind it. Players should be able to get glimpses of both San Francisco Golf Club to the left, and Lake Merced Golf Club on the right.
