The 16th is a highly contoured par four. The tee shot plays to into a valley with a rolling fairway. The fairway opens up on the right, but the safer area of the green is the right side. This means a standard draw to the left side of the fairway is likely desirable.
The concern on the approach is the deep bunkers left of the green. The likelihood of a flat lie here is minimal, so it may be worthwhile to bail out to the right side and hope for the best. Shots that hit the fairway cut right of the green should kick on.
The green itself has two tiers, with a massive contour between them. The upper tier is in the back, while the lower tier is in the front.
