Hole 7 Discussion

The seventh is the first hole in The Loop. It is a dogleg-right par 4. The tee shot here must get over the rise in front of the fairway about 100 yards short of the front edge green. The biggest concern on the tee shot is not to end up in the Cockleshell bunker.

The position of this against the River Eden can mean the wind here may play more of a factor than previous holes. With a good drive the approach should be simply to control the wedge over the Shell bunker and get in in two.
