Hole 3 starts straight and flat before sharply dropping into a creek about 90 yards from the green, after which starts a slight leftward dogleg. The fairway is rather narrow, and a miss too far to the left is liable to go OB or result in a blind approach shot. A good tee shot will usually end up at the top of the hill or at the flat spot immediately before the creek, but either position will result in a somewhat tricky approach shot.
The green has some undulation, but is generally one of the easier ones to manage.
