A gentle fade aimed at the distant greenside bunker should be rewarded with a short iron or long wedge in. Depending on the pin location, the green plays differently. Close it plays back-to-front, far it plays right-to-left. It generally breaks towards the bunker, which defends back pin placements well for those that don’t decide to play the shot towards the middle of the green and let it feed back to the pin.
