The 16th has two interesting quirks. There are a couple rollers on the left side of the fairway that encourage players to send their tee shots to the right side. This choice will affect the approach dramatically.

If the player is short of the mounds, the play into the green will be semi-blind. If the player plays out to the right, the approach must contend with a deep dip short of the green. Only players who clear the mounds on the left will have direct access to the full green.
