Meadowink begins with a short-ish par-5 up and over a hill. A small pond less than 50 yards off the tee rubs salt in the wound of any topped tee shots. Expect a blind second shot here, as most tee shots, unless piped up the right edge of this right to left fairway on the driest of Summer days, will not crest the hill. Mind the trees right of the tee, and note that any approach shots right of this green fall off down a tree-covered hillside. As is common to Meadowink, no fairway bunkers, but greenside bunkers abound short left and right of medium-sized, mostly flat greens.
