The fourth features one of the most spectacular design features on the course, and many might not notice it. Most of the tees here are blind, but the target line to the center of the fairway is the East Peak of Mount Tamalpais (the left-most peak from the tees). There is an aiming bunker as well to help players align their shots.

The hole is a short par four, where the ideal approach is from the left side, but there are fairway bunkers threatening players who try to place the ball exactly on the approach line, and those trying to cut the corner.
