The 2nd hole continues away from the clubhouse towards the duneland and presents a variety of strategies from the tee. Longer hitters will aim for best positioning as close as possible to the burn that requires only a short uphill second shot to the green.
Shorter hitters however will only access the green in three shots considering the burn and the uphill carry that is both blind and protected by bunkers on the crest of the incline. The contours of the green complex funnel to the middle of the putting surface, so following the centre marker for the approach shot will leave a reward when the green comes into view after climbing the slope.
