The first of back-to-back par 3s, the 15th hole is an unforgiving mid-length par 3, often made harder by uncomfortable crosswinds. It plays modestly uphill. Nothing less than a shot on target is required. The two bunkers short of the green appear closer to the front edge than they really are, and so if there is a good miss, it’s in the space just short. That will leave a relatively simple chip that can be run onto the green.
A wide miss either side faces a tricky recovery shot played across a narrow green that slopes from back to front. The greenside drop-off left is the most severe on the course. The right falls off towards two pot bunkers that lie awkwardly below the surface of the green.
