The 13th is a challenge from tee to green. An uphill approach is played from drives that don’t carry onto the plateau, from which a view of the green is possible. A gaping centre line bunker lies 50 or so yards short of the green. Approaches played low or from further back would be well advised to lay up short of this bunker.
The front of the green is protected by a steep slope. Anything that comes up slightly short will not get onto the putting surface. Two bunkers guard misses either side of the slope. The green is relatively flat sloping downwards from front to back.
