Hole 14 is the second par 5 that plays along Lake Austin Blvd. The tee shot here can be aggressive for those who play the ball to the right. Any miss right will likely end up playable from the adjacent fairway. The ideal shot, however, is a standard draw, to add length by running it over the hill.

Playing to reach the green in two will require an extremely long drive, followed by a very long approach, however, the green is effectively unguarded, so there is little reason for most to play conservatively.
