The 17th is a par 4 that starts with a blind, uphill tee shot. From the II tees, a good target line is the three trees in the distance. Aiming at the left tree will be an aggressive line, and the right tree will be the safest line. There are two fairway bunkers on the left that can players can end up in if they take the aggressive line. Even more dangerous is the OB along the far left.
The approach will pays to a pear-shaped green. The fairway tilts to the left side, so the ball will likely be above right-handers feet, which will likely make both greenside bunkers a concern as movement in the air is a near certainty. There is also a large false front, and the green itself plays back to front. All this makes playing for front pins very dangerous.
