The 10th hole starts out the back nine with a challenging par 5. The hole is a dogleg left that the jogs down and then sharply uphill to an elevated green. The tee shot plays with water on the left side and OB on the right. Most players should easily be able to reach the turn.
The second shot is definitely a choice of distance vs shot selection. I mid-iron should get players into a good wedge position, but two large trees flank the fairway, and there is only a small gap with direct access to the green. The other option is to play the ball as far as possible to get it under these trees, but that obviously comes with more risk, and leaves an awkward wedge up to the green.
