Hole 12 Discussion

The 12th hole plays subtly differently than the front 9 version. First, the small fairway bunkers are now in play. Second, a strong player can theoretically drive the green.

The most prominent feature of this tee shot is the uneven tee box. It has a notable slope that will move the ball left off the tee, so players must compensate. If the prevailing wind is blowing, it could compound any mistakes and push the shot left into the trees on the left.

The approach shot will be similar, but again, the down-slope on the fairway will, again, make a wedge much trickier that it would otherwise be.
