Hole 10 Discussion

Hole #10, now a par 5, starts the back nine with the same challenges of #1, only exaggerated. The gallery will now judge as you take one of the hardest tee shots on the course. This time, a fade must carry nearly 200 yards to hold the fairway, and every shot that does not land left of center could be in danger. Shorter shots have a good chance of being lost to the shrubs on the right side. Placement here is paramount, and mistakes will be costly.

A well placed shot can make the green reachable, but be very careful. The green is designed to punish anything but the best shots for this distance. The uneven fairway will force every shot to move right, putting both the sand trap in play, as well as running off the green towards the dangerous slope on the right side.

Laying up down the hill, however, will give the player the ability to attack the slope of the green from the right side of the fairway. The green is much more accessible from this angle with a wedge.
