Hole #18 is tricky as it narrows in the middle of the hole, making it difficult to find the fairway. At this same time, this is the longest Par 4 on the course so a Soft driver at least is needed to have a chance at your GIR. The problem is; a slice puts you in the driving range, and a hook puts you OB in farmland.
In typical DGC fashion, two little annoying bunkers live on the front edges of this green, which makes a long second shot risky in terms of rolling into the sand.
Finishing with a par on this hole should feel like an accomplishment!
