The 12th is another dogleg left, with a large area to bail out on the right side. There is a fairway bunker on the left, and flirting with it will definitely improve the odds on the approach shot. There is a fairway bunker on the far side of the dogleg, but it really should only be in play for the longest hitters.
The approach shot plays way uphill. The is a huge bunker short-right of the green, so players need to get the ball to the right distance, but there’s another large bunker hidden behind the green. The green plays back-to-front and is about 20 yards deep, so players have a bit of room to work with.
Play a long tee shot here, and most will have a simple wedge up the hill.
