The 18th is a reachable par 5 finisher, but it is likely unwise to attempt the hole in two. The front of the green is guarded by high bunkers. The fairway is narrow. Any imperfection in the drive or approach will be quite penal. There is even an offset bunker short-right of the green to punish anyone foolish enough to attempt to swing for the fences with no chance of reaching the green.

A controlled play here seems prudent unless the match is on the line, and even so, keeping it in play to get close on the challenging green may prove to be a winning strategy.
