Opened in 1910, Milnathort Golf Club opened on a small piece of land acquired, on lease, from the estate of Lumbenny. Milnathort Golf Club, which on maps is often referred to as Burleigh Golf Course, as it sits nearby Burleigh Castle, has grown into a lovely parkland golf course and has a fine reputation for being an enjoyable course with a welcoming clubhouse. It is one of the friendliest clubs you can join or visit and offers great value all year round.

Milnathort Golf Course is set on gently undulating, expansive parkland and is widely acknowledged as one of the best 9 hole courses in the country. The quality of the course is such that it has been host to many national events and is on the ‘circuit’ for the R&A 9 hole challenge.

With additional tees and greens on the back nine the course offers a different challenge on each 9 hence the ‘odd’ par of 71.
