昭和31年にコース設計の権威・上田治氏に設計を依頼しました。当クラブは、九州では上田氏の戦後最初の作品です。また、平成６年に行った改修の設計･監修は、上田治氏の愛弟子である鈴木正一氏に依頼しました。グリーンの床構造をサンド化し、レギュラーグリーンを高麗からベントに替えて、全面ベントグリーンとしました。その後も上田治氏の設計を守りながら、時代にあった改修を行ってまいりました。

Translation:

In 1956, we asked Osamu Ueda, an authority on course design, to design the course. This club is Mr. Ueda’s first work in Kyushu after the war. In addition, Mr. Shoichi Suzuki, a disciple of Mr. Osamu Ueda, was asked to design and supervise the renovation carried out in 1994. The floor structure of the green has been sanded, and the regular green has been changed from Korai to bent green, making it a full bent green. Since then, we have maintained the design of Mr. Osamu Ueda and made renovations to suit the times.
