The 18 hole course was originally built in 1893 by A.G. Spaulding, a former pitcher and manager of the Chicago Cubs. The course was reduced to 9-holes in 1929, and in 1995 Eagle Springs Golf Resort was recognized as Golf Magazine’s “First 100 Clubs in America.”
