Hole 7 Discussion

The seventh could be the signature hole at Butler. It plays downhill, over a water hazard, to a green built into the hillside. There’s out-of-bounds on the right side, but it’s a good distance from the center of the fairway. Shots need to be in the air here to clear the hazard, but you’ll want to end up on the front edge of the green to have an uphill putt. The green is one of the smallest on the course, but it’s pretty welcoming and not too difficult.

Players that end up in the water can take a drop next to the hazard for a one-stroke penalty.
