The 15th at Pasatiempo is a short par 3 that is notably similar to #12 at Augusta National, a later MacKenzie design. The green is angled and pitched back-right to front-left, and there is significant bunkering on the opposite angle, short-right and long-left.

The player must commit to their shot and their distance. Trying to play a standard fade the angle of the green invites trouble, as any wind through this gap in the trees could easily cause the ball to flutter, and drop short in the bunkers.
