Hole 6 Discussion

Hole six is a par five that plays uphill off the tee with a fairway bunker defending the left side. However, players should always aim left on their tee shots here, as even shots landing in the center of the fairway will funnel into the creek along the right side. The fairway bunker on the left is very shallow; most players finding it should still be able to hit a long iron out without worrying about the lip. The preferable miss for the approach shot is going long, as there is nothing but flat ground and light rough behind the green, versus two bunkers on the short side. The green itself slopes off on the left side, so players should aim for the back right corner if possible.
