Hole 8 Discussion

A long, difficult short hole which is called “The Road Hole” because a road encountered at the fifth is crossed again here. Three bunkers guard the approach to the green on the right hand side with another on the left; the entrance to the green is only 20 yards wide. Accuracy as well as length is therefore important to reach the green from the tee.
